How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed or disabled as a result of a copyright infringement notice, and you believe this was due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This informs the copyright holder of your dispute.

A valid counter-notification must contain the following information:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location on msw.ae where the material appeared before its removal or disabling.
Your name, address, and telephone number.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located. If your address is outside the United States, you must consent to jurisdiction for any judicial district in which MSW may be found.
A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
